IBM shares some interesting findings from a new study tech skills and careers that it conducted across 13 countries:

    • 40% of students say the greatest barrier to professional or technical skill development is that they do not know where to start.
    • 61% of students think they are not qualified to work in a STEM job because they don't have the right academic degrees.
    • 75% of all respondents agree that digital credentials are a good way to supplement traditional education.

According to IBM, Some of these findings may be misconceptions but  they see a huge opportunity to help place students interested in future STEM jobs one step ahead.
